Welcome!
A year ago I didn’t know that helping out with the blogathon would change my career direction.
For 4 years, I’d been successfully writing parenting articles for regional parenting mags, raising 5 kids, and began to feel like I needed a new challenge. In the process of assisting Michelle Rafter, WordCount, I discovered the world of Virtual Assistants. I had already been editing a variety of articles for a colleague of mine. But I didn’t know that as a virtual assistant, I could collaborate with business owners to help them:
- gain more clients,
- become far more productive,
- increase their online visibility
- administrate their newsletters
- and so much more!
Fast forward to today, and Udlock Virtual is thriving.
So please join me here where I will be talking about:
Ways You Can Work with a VA: What can they do? But they’re sound so expensive? How do I communicate with my VA?
Social Media: What’s a Facebook business page? Do I have to learn Twitter and other social media platforms? How do I curate content for these platforms?

Hi Jan, Nice to connect with you via the Blogathon. I’ve talked with a lot of business owners about hiring a VA and what they can do for you. This is a topic I want to cover on my Savvy Biz Talk show. I’d love to have you as my guest so that you can help educate other business owners in this area. If you’d like to do this let me know and I can send you the details:)
Hi Toni,
So nice to meet you. Absolutely – I’d love to chat with you and share on your show how VAs can help other biz owners grow their biz. I’ll be in touch soon.

Thanks for visiting me–had to come see what YOU were up to!
Hi Barb,
I think I need an extra day in the week to run by everybody’s blog just to say hello to all the “ol’ timers.”
I still think of that fabulous movie, Babette’s Feast when I see your blog.
Thank you for stopping by, too.

Happy to see you here, and to participate in this great endeavor.
You’ve piqued my curiosity about the whole field of VA. I’m looking forward to seeing your newsletter in my inbox!
And you’re right about needing that extra day …!
Hi Jan!
Ok, you’ve piqued my curiosity! I know absolutely nothing about VAs so I’ll be stopping by for sure to learn more. Sounds interesting! And congrats on your success!!!
Julia and Billie,
It’s so nice to see you both again. I will be sharing great stuff about the VA world because I’m so excited about it.
Thank you both for visiting!
