I had plans for a different post today but I felt I needed to share this video. It’s quick and easy to watch.
Please share it with any young person who spends time out in the sun. As a kid, I spent hours in the hot California sun lathered in baby oil. This weekend my mom showed me a picture of my dear dad’s nose with 18 external stitches in it because a dermatologist cut out a cancerous growth. He also had numerous internal stitches.
Skin cancer is real. Talk to a loved one today.
Wow! That was powerful! As a kid, I also lathered up in baby oil in the summer sun. Just didn’t know any better. But today’s generation has the knowledge we didn’t. If only they will listen. This may help them to understand. Thanks for sharing …I’ll be forwarding it on for sure!
I have age spots and wrinkles to show for it. I go yearly to a dermatologist to have my skin checked. Thanks, Julie. Please share it – you never know who will read it and take heed.
I felt it was so important that I posted it on my FB page! I hope my FB friends take the time to watch it!
Oh, Julie, I hope so too. It’s so well done and lively that it’s easy to watch. Thank you.
Yes! I posted this on my FB for the very reasons you did. My dad had a huge (as in the size of a lemon) skin cancer cut out of his face on the temple area – twice!
Thanks for posting this, dear!
Good, good, good, Kate! Thank you.
I am determined that this will save a life one day.
