That veggie tamale pie looks spectacular. With a 5 year old and an almost 5 month old this book makes me sing. The 5 year old always wants to help so finding things she can do, washing veggies, greasing pans, etc helps. If the little one can watch us he can be entertained for a little while, or I wear him if I’m not at the stove. I’m looking forward to the time he takes long enough naps that I can make use of Debbie’s nap time recipes.

Jan, what a great idea! I love the one-handed cooking…having spent almost 8 years of my life cooking that way, I would have loved to have read this years ago!!

I saw this and now have hope that I’ll have ideas to feed my granddaughter when she visits. She is very active and it’s not easy to get something on the table to eat when she’s here!

This looks like a great book and that recipe looks super yummy! Having 2 little ones close together was quite a challenge for me the first 2 years. This book looks like a great asset for both moms who like to cook and those who find it daunting.

Hey Jan. I know! This cook book looks fab. I love the content and the illustrations – and the parenting know-how. I seem to use online recipes these days but sometimes you need a good hard copy book to get the, er…juices flowing. (-:
