Great idea to use former posts. I love all the ideas from the Blogathon on how NOT to be overwhelmed by blogging. I’m always putting such pressure on myself, so it’s nice to have backup plans. As blogs grow, new readers have missed some of your best posts. Hope you have a wonderful weekend.

I will admit that I am happy not to have five kids, too. But, I am very happy with the two that I do have so, yes, Happy Mother’s Day to all us mamas.

Just realized that I said “Happy” three times in that comment. Sigh.

I chuckled as I read this…I can SO relate! I remember a day when my oldest first went for a year of full time ministry, the rest of the children and I were at the door to go to the library. We all looked around and hemmed and hawed until someone said what we all were feeling, “We just don’t have enough children!” 😉

Jan, I heard a great answer on the radio the other day. Instead of saying you have five children, say I just have five! It stops the asker from reacting to your seemingly large family! Personally, I think five is a wonder number. I come from a family of five, but I got started late and only had two. If I could do it over, I would have had more wonderful, unique blessings to support me when I am old! 🙂
Happy Mother’s Day to you too!

Had to stop by and wish you a Happy Mother’s Day, and I’m glad I did! Your house sounds wonderful! I love when our daughter comes home from college and all of her friends drop by. It’s like the house is “alive” again! And thanks for the time-saving blog tip! I will remember that when I have some old blogs to fall back on. I felt a little guilty throwing together tomorrow’s blog, if you can call it that, but I’m spending the day with my daughter tomorrow so the blog loses! 😉
